      On 21 January in Brussels (BE), the partners and participants of the SUSTAIN project spent a full to draw the main lessons from this project. Key topics included:<\/span><\/p>\n

      <\/span>\u26a1From risk exposure to risk criticality<\/span><\/h4>\n

      Moving from identifying risk exposure to evaluating which nature-related risks are most critical for companies. I.e. to assess the severity and strategic importance of these risks for the company (see carousel). At that step, use financial data when it comes to board-level trade-offs, risk comparison, investment prioritisation.<\/span><\/p>\n

      \ud83d\udcab How to step in a nature transition phase<\/span><\/h4>\n

      Encouraging companies to transition to nature-positive practices. Action plan is a long story in conservation, quite new in business. One way is to leverage the existing monitoring that provides data on pressures. Another could be to internalize the externalities to support actions (see carousel).<\/span>
